dc.description.PhyConditionThe item is extremely fragile with damaged, moth eaten and discoloured pages.There are damp spots, creased corners, deep folds and rust spots from usage of staple pins that have been removed from digitization. Both page cutting and print layout are anomalous.
dc.description.abstractThis religious monthly magazine is an Urdu version of English magazine Islamic Review and Muslim India that was printed from London. The book contains the writings and opinions of those newly converted to Islam in London. For instance, a Mr. Howell had converted and was now known as Mr. Mohammad Ashraf Howell, and a Prof. Hikel, a renowned scientist had also converted. Such was the kind of news in this magazine.
dc.description.noteThere is one black and white photograph after pp.366, with the caption 'An English Muslim Family: Mrs.Shareefa Begam Howell, Miss Naseema Howell, Miss Zaitoon Howell, Mr. Mohammad Ashraf Howell and Master Qasim Howell.' The previous issue of this journal concluded on pp. 331 and the present issue has started on pp 337 instead of pp 332. Marginal notes are present.
