| dc.description.note | Some pages are misprinted. The first surah is missing, as is the first portion of the second Surah. The text starts with the middle portion of Surah no.2. The text has no punctuation which reflects an exceptional method of reading the Quran. It is termed the 'Alamatul Waqf' in Arabic. Due to the small size of the book, it has not been possible to use the coloure checker beyond the first two images. The size may also cause the presence of shadows in the photos. The fragility of the book has also prevented the digitizers from being able to move it too much. This may cause crooked images. Some pages in the latter part of the book have ink marks and are torn. pp.1 to pp.64 missing. After pp.830, pp.1 -pp. 4 note portion. | |
